The Director

Stephanie Hubbard, director of "Ride to Heaven" (formerly "Bible Storyland")

Stephanie Hubbard is a popular author and award winning documentary film editor and producer whose television shows have run on PBS, The Discovery Channel, Court TV and the History Channel.  Ride to Heaven: An Existential Theme Park Mystery is the first documentary feature film she has directed. Stephanie earned her Master’s Degree from the Newhouse School at Syracuse University in Writing and Production for Film and Television. Her undergrad degree is in Philosophy from Queen’s University in Ontario, Canada. Stephanie lives with her husband, son, two dogs and a cat in Los Angeles. She grew up as a practicing Episcopalian in Upstate New York, and although she has lived in southern California since 1996, she has yet to visit Disneyland.

The Producer

Jona Verhardy (aka Harvey Jordan), producer of "Ride to Heaven" (formerly "Bible Storyland")

Art Dealer and Raconteur, Jona Verhardy grew up in Southern California with an eye for beautiful and valuable objects. He first acquired a bronze bull when on vacation with his family in Spain, thus began his life long affinity for collecting.

 

 

 

 

 

The Cinematographer

James Conant, cinematographer of "Ride to Heaven" (formerly "Bible Storyland")James Conant is an established Producer, Director and Cinematographer. He field produced for American Ninja Warrior on NBC and directed The Endless Feast for PBS. He also produced and directed the EPK for the recent feature film Supercapers starring Michael Rooker, Tom Sizemore, and Doug Jones.

His Director of Photography credits include Discovery’s upcoming All Star Dealers, World Of Wonder Productions’ AFI winner Gay Republicans, WE’s Platinum Weddings and Platinum Babies, and the feature documentary Ride to Heaven.

James also shot for Oxygen’s Tori & Dean, One Punk Under God and Transgeneration on Sundance Channel, Rupaul’s Drag Race, for LOGO, and GSN’s, Carnie Wilson, Unstapled.
